As we scale, we are looking for a Product-Led Growth (PLG) Expert to lead and execute growth initiatives that enhance user adoption, engagement, and monetization through our product.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Product-Led Growth (PLG) Expert who will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the product experience. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Data, Marketing, and Revenue, focusing on creating seamless self-serve user experiences that convert, retain, and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate is data-driven, customer-obsessed, and passionate about designing frictionless product journeys that fuel sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product-Led Growth Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a PLG strategy that accelerates revenue generation through acquisition, activation, and expansion of the user base.
Leverage data to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve user profiles and usage data, user experience, retention, and conversion rates.
Define and optimize key growth loops within the product, such as referrals, viral features, and engagement triggers.
2. User Onboarding & Activation Optimization
Enhance the Time-to-Value (TTV) for new users by designing an intuitive onboarding experience that drives more usage.
Implement data-driven A/B testing and iterative improvements to ensure seamless activation.
Work with Product and Engineering teams to improve UI/UX flows that guide users toward key actions.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making
Analyze user behavior, conversion metrics, and churn patterns to inform growth initiatives.
Set up tracking, experimentation frameworks, and KPIs to measure success and continuously iterate.
4. Monetization & Expansion
Develop and optimize pricing, freemium models, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Implement strategies to drive self-serve revenue growth while supporting product-led sales initiatives.
Collaborate with Sales to define and refine product-qualified lead (PQL) criteria.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to advance the PLG analytics suite of tools (e.g.,Stripe, Google Analytics, Clarity, Grafana etc)
Advocate for a growth mindset across the organization, fostering a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration.
Work closely with the content and community teams to ensure growth initiatives align with OpenCorporates’ mission.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a Product-Led Growth role at a SaaS, data, or technology-driven company.
Strong understanding of growth loops, user psychology, and product engagement strategies.
Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g.,Stripe, Google Analytics, Clarity, Grafana etc).
Ability to set up and analyze A/B tests, funnel optimizations, and data-driven experiments.
Deep knowledge of onboarding flows, activation levers, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a bias for action and experimentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with open data, API-driven businesses, or B2B DaaS products.
Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools that incorporate AI to extract insights from large datasets.
Knowledge of behavioral economics and growth hacking principles.
Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
