Reporting to the VP Sales you will be responsible for achieving your quota through successful sales activities including generating leads, cold reach out to prospective clients and closing sales opportunities consistently and predictably.
You will be fully responsible for the achievement of your sales quota
Prospect, qualify and address customer objections and by fully understanding OpenCorporates product and value proposition
Use your experience and consultative selling skills to build strong and effective relationships with our buyers and the internal stakeholders that will help you to close the deal
Manage complex sales cycles, navigating buyer personas, internal teams and decision-makers
Be able to confidently show the value of OpenCorporates data to prospective clients and talk to the use cases of the product
Take full responsibility for your industry knowledge, leveraging both internal and external resources to understand our customers and the ecosystem they exist within
Forecast accurately and maintain clean Salesforce admin

The ideal candidate will have:
A solid background in data management, enterprise software or SaaS sales
At least 5 years in Public Sector field sales, preferably with enterprise data, compliance, or risk software solutions or a proven track record of selling into large banks
Extensive experience in selling enterprise-level deals into complex organisations
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets
A commercially focused mindset with the ability to create urgency, results and a desire to push the business forward
A strong metrics focus
Exceptional presentation and communication skills
Passionate about living the core values of OpenCorporates and able to inspire the same in others.
